An elegant Tudor style mansion on the edge of Sherbrooke Forest
If you are planning a wedding, let Marybrooke Manor make it one to remember. With garden and indoor ceremony areas, a wine garden for pre dinner drinks, an elegant dining room and 20 accommodation rooms able to sleep over fifty people plus a nearby Cottage that sleeps up to eight people, Marybrooke can cater for your every need.
Marybrooke is nestled on the edge of the majestic Sherbrooke Forest in the Dandenong Ranges. The magnificent National Trust listed reception centre and guesthouse is the perfect one-stop destination for your boutique wedding ceremony & reception for up to 100 guests.
Built in 1940, Marybrooke began as the grandest guesthouse in a chain of six guesthouses all using the pre-fix “Mary” designed and built by Eric Dowdle between 1927 and 1940. It is registered as a socially, historically and architecturally significant property. Over recent years Marybrooke has undergone extensive renovations to restore and reinstate the building to reflect it’s original charm and elegance. With a restaurant, two function rooms and an indoor wedding ceremony area, Marybrooke also offers 20 boutique four star accommodation suites.
For ceremonies we provide a picturesque outdoor garden gazebo with white Americana chairs, red aisle carpet runner and signing table with linen. Alternatively, our indoor ceremony area is available – and it’s always available as a wet weather option. It has large windows and includes chair covers with sashes.
We offer a flexible range of all-inclusive ceremony & reception packages tailored to your individual needs. These include Dining, Shared Platter, Grazing and Garden Party Packages. Each has an all inclusive price per adult but the minimum spend requirement varies by day of the week and season, meaning if you have a smaller number of people you want to invite you can make up the minimum spend by including additional items. This enables us to truly design a package to suit your specific needs while avoiding the need for you to invite extra guests.
