Tall Trees Studio is both Gallery and working Studio for Goldsmith Helene Campbell and has been designed as an immersive experience of her work and more importantly her workspace – the Studio.
The Gallery and Studio is a homage to her home among the Tall Trees that are such an integral part of the Dandenong Ranges.
The Studio is the hub of the Gallery, and you can easily watch Helene and her apprentice create handcrafted jewellery destined either for display and sale in the Gallery or for private commissions. S Helene also regularly leads bespoke Silversmith Workshops, to find out more go to the website.
Helene’s pieces feature Australian Recycled Gold and/or Silver, ethically or locally sourced stones, such as Australian Sapphires, Opals and Pearls in fresh, simple, vibrant, and contemporary designs using traditional and contemporary materials and techniques. Helene’s designs reference the natural environment or are designed to showcase the distinctly different gemstone and materials being used. Each piece is handmade, and as such is as individual, much like the maker and the eventual owner.
Helene shares the Gallery space with over 30 Victorian Artists, most local to the Dandenong Ranges, exhibiting their work in the beautiful, well-lit space that is the Gallery.
There are Artists of many genres encompassing art, home décor, personal accessories, jewellery, textiles, journals and things to grow.
Helene and her staff are always pleased to share the story of each maker's journey in creating their pieces.
